We will bring an impressive PIC start-up story, a corporate PIC-vision, and exciting stories of the latest PIC-developments by JePPIX partners and ePIXfab members.
This 3-day training course provides industry, especially those involved in PIC-based product development, with the basic technical skills in ideating, designing, fabricating, and testing SiPh PICs. The course covers various forms of SiPh such as thin SOI, thick SOI, LPCVD SiN, PECVD SiN, and Ge- on-Si along with the deployment of these technologies into application domains such as communications, medical, sensors, quantum, environmental, computing, etc.

The Specialist Course on Silicon Photonics Design goes from ideation to characterization of a working silicon photonics chip. The course focuses on the process of translating a photonic circuit idea into a working chip, going from schematic design and circuit simulation to layout, routing, and interactive design rule checking.
ePIXfab in collaboration with LIGENTEC is organizing the 3rd edition of an intensive short course on Silicon Nitride Integrated Photonics. This is two half-day course, which will take place on 21-22 March 2022. The course will take place in a hybrid mode where you can join either onsite in EPFL Innovation Park (Uranus room in Building D) Lausanne (Switzerland) or online.
