Technical coordinator: Antonietta Parracino
Antonietta Parracino obtained her PhD in Medical Biochemistry, specializing in the interface between molecular sciences and advanced photonic technologies. She is a resultsdriven biophysicist with an international research background spanning biotechnology, nanophotonics, and integrated photonic systems for biosensing applications.
Throughout her career, Antonietta has contributed to the acquisition, coordination, and successful execution of multiple externally funded research projects and various national funding schemes. She currently serves in the Photonics Research Group as project manager of European-funded projects dedicated to the development of heterogeneous integrated photonics platforms for application-driven innovation.
In 2026, she also joined ePIXfab in a part-time role as Technical Coordinator, contributing to the ecosystem supporting the broader adoption and impact of integrated photonics technologies.
